Evidence (born Michael Perretta) is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles, best known as one-third of the hip-hop group Dilated Peoples alongside Rakaa and DJ Babu. Active since the 1990s, he is associated with conscious, underground West Coast rap. Beyond Dilated Peoples, he has released several acclaimed solo albums and collaborated with artists such as Alchemist and Slug of Atmosphere.
