Miles Teller is an American actor born in 1987 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, who trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He broke through with Damien Chazelle's Whiplash (2014), playing an obsessive jazz drummer opposite J.K. Simmons, and reached a global audience as Lt. 'Rooster' Bradshaw in Top Gun: Maverick (2022) - one of the highest-grossing films of all time. His range spans indie drama, blockbuster action and A24 romantic fantasy, with a slate of major projects running through 2026 and beyond.
