Skáld is a French musical group blending Norse mythology with contemporary sounds. Their lyrics are sung in Old Norse and Icelandic, drawing on Viking tradition and folk metal influences. The ensemble is built around a choir of vocalists evoking the atmosphere of the ancient North.
