The Gladiators is a Jamaican roots reggae group formed in Kingston in the 1960s, led by vocalist and guitarist Albert Griffiths. Known for their harmonies and conscious lyrics, they released influential albums such as Trenchtown Mix Up (1976) and Proverbial Reggae (1978). They remain one of the classic acts of the roots reggae era.
