Trey Parker (born Randolph Severn Parker III, October 19, 1969) is an American animator, writer, director, composer and actor, best known for co-creating the animated series South Park (1997-) with Matt Stone - one of the longest-running and most influential shows in television history. Beyond the show, Parker co-wrote and directed the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon (2011), which won nine Tony Awards, and directed the satirical film Team America: World Police (2004). In July 2025, Parker and Stone signed a new five-year deal with Paramount+, after which Forbes reported both had become billionaires.
