Freiburger Barockorchester: 6 Brandenburg Concertos

Freiburger Barockorchester brings all six Brandenburg Concertos by Bach to Freiburg im Breisgau on Monday, 12 October 2026, performing them in a single evening. The concert takes place at Konzerthaus Freiburg, a major concert hall in the city centre that opened in 1996 and holds up to 1800 listeners. This is one of five German dates for the ensemble, which tours Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Cologne in October and November. The programme showcases the remarkable diversity of Bach's masterworks-from a concerto featuring horns and oboes to a work without violins, where violas and viola da gamba take the lead. Tickets cost 12 euros.
