About: Shantel

Stefan Hantel, performing as Shantel, spent the 1990s building Frankfurt's underground club scene before his Bucovina Club nights turned Balkan brass and Romani grooves into a Europe-wide dance phenomenon. His live Bucovina Club Soundsystem format fuses brass, synths and electronic beats into a single high-energy set.
