About: Chameleons

Formed in 1981 in Greater Manchester, The Chameleons helped define the post-punk sound of the 1980s with layered guitars and Mark Burgess's intense baritone - a template that bands from Interpol to The Verve openly borrowed from. Their 2025 comeback album Arctic Moon marks a full return to the studio after a 24-year gap.
