Na boku

"Na boku" is a farce directed by Tomasz Dutkiewicz, based on the play by Edward Taylor and Marc Breman (original "A bit on the side", translated by Elżbieta Woźniak). The action takes place in Konstancin, a suburb near Warsaw, where the doorbell never stops ringing and every opening threatens social disaster.

Helena (Karolina Chapko / Ilona Janyst), a writer of cheap romance novels, decides to test how her literary fantasies work in practice. Her partner is Gracjan (Marcin Korcz / Stefan Pawłowski), a frustrated actor with undeniable charm - and together they write a new chapter in the ballad of infidelity. The lovers do everything to keep their affair hidden, but the Konstancin community has other plans.

With the "Housewife of the Month" award comes an imperfect radio presenter (Andrzej Andrzejewski / Tomasz Dutkiewicz), a nosy neighbour and former wife of the current husband (Daria Widawska) adds her two cents, and an eccentric plumber (Bogdan Kalus / Rafał Szałajko) is not indifferent either. Overseeing it all is a visionary director (Mariusz Zaniewski / Piotr Miazga), to whom the couple must cater at all costs.

Even the dog in Konstancin is talkative - there will be no shortage of loud reviews of this masked love story.
