Every year at the end of summer, this festival shows up like a cold or a construction site - like a scruffy old dog that mostly sleeps in the corner but eventually gets up to bite or beg for a scratch. THE SOUND OF BRONKOW is a music festival rooted in contemporary folk, singer-songwriters and Americana, but one that sniffs out surprising bands and artists across all genre boundaries. In the afternoon it presents newcomers free of charge on a garden stage; in the evening it throws concerts in several theatre halls on fantastically decorated stages.

The 16th edition runs from 4 to 6 September 2026 in and around the Societaetstheater in Dresden. We promise the most wonderful line-up since 2025!
