Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741) was an Italian Baroque composer and violinist. He is best known for the cycle of violin concertos The Four Seasons and hundreds of other concertos, sonatas, and operas. His Chamber Concerto in D major RV 93 is a favourite of the chamber repertoire, originally written for lute (or harpsichord) and strings.
