Franz Schubert

About

Franz Schubert (1797–1828) was an Austrian composer bridging Classicism and Romanticism. In his short life he produced over 600 songs, nine symphonies, and a wealth of chamber music. Among his best-known works are the "Unfinished" Symphony and the song cycle Winterreise.
