The Magic Flute

Die Zauberflöte presents Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" in the crypt of Peterskirche in Vienna on Sunday, 27 September 2026 at 11:30. The performance runs for three hours in the historic interior of the Baroque church of St. Peter on the Graben in Vienna's first district. The crypt, which typically serves as an intimate venue for classical music concerts, becomes the stage for this chamber performance. This is one of three Austrian dates for Die Zauberflöte-further performances are scheduled for October in Vienna and Salzburg. The crypt's acoustics and architecture create a distinctive setting for this celebrated opera.
