André Rieu. Long Live Maastricht! | Summer Concert Broadcast from Maastricht 2026 — Kino Rialto w Poznaniu, Poznań

In July 2026, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will perform on Vrijthof – the famous square in Maastricht – for the 20th time. The jubilee show titled "Long Live Maastricht!" is a tribute to the Maestro's hometown, where the first summer concert on this square took place 20 years ago. In autumn 2026, the recording will be released in cinemas worldwide, including Poland.

The programme features waltzes and marches by Johann Strauss Sr. and Jr., hits from the musicals "My Fair Lady" and "Les Misérables", as well as Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe" from the film "The Mission". The stage will feature the Platinum Tenors, internationally renowned sopranos, and artists performing on Vrijthof for the first time.

For Polish audiences, the broadcast will be hosted by Maja Jasińska – flautist of the Johann Strauss Orchestra. Her presentation will include behind-the-scenes footage and an exclusive interview with André Rieu conducted specially for Polish cinema audiences.
