The Spanish Riding School in Vienna is one of the oldest and most prestigious classical riding academies in the world, founded in the 16th century. Housed in the historic Winter Riding School building (completed 1735) designed by Josef Emanuel Fischer von Erlach, it is famous for its Lipizzan stallions performing classical dressage.
