The Robert Cray Band is an American blues group led by guitarist and vocalist Robert Cray. Founded in the 1970s, the band is known for blending blues, soul, and rhythm and blues. Their album Strong Persuader (1986) won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Recording.
