Katharina Straßer & Band brings Die 50+ Jahre Austropop Revue to Vienna on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at Tschauner Bühne. This is one of three Austrian tour dates for the artist. Tschauner Bühne is a traditional Viennese folk theatre in the Ottakring district with roots reaching back to the early twentieth century, regarded as one of the last authentic Volksstück venues in Vienna. The programme celebrates over fifty years of Austrian popular music, combining classic works with the rich history of the genre.

About the venue: TSCHAUNER BÜHNE

Tschauner Bühne is a traditional Viennese folk theatre located in the Ottakring district, with roots going back to the early 20th century. It is one of the last remaining Volksstück stages in Vienna, known for performing classic Viennese comedies, farces, and dialect plays. The intimate open-air wooden stage preserves the charm of old suburban Viennese theatre culture.
