Description was written before the event

Wiener Kaiser Wiesn 2026 is one of Vienna's most popular Wiesn-style festivals, held at the Kaiserwiese in the Prater. This year's special guest is the band Die Südsteirer, bringing traditional music and a lively festive atmosphere.

The event blends Bavarian-Austrian beer-tent traditions with Viennese charm — a great occasion to enjoy beer, food, and live music with friends.

About the venue: Kaiserwiese/Prater

The Kaiserwiese is a large open meadow within Vienna's historic Prater park, situated near the iconic Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel). The expansive green area has long served as a venue for major open-air events, festivals, concerts, and public gatherings. The Prater itself is one of Vienna's oldest and most beloved public parks, opened to the public by Emperor Joseph II in 1766.
