The Galopprennbahn Freudenau is Vienna's historic horse-racing track, located in the Prater park. Opened in 1839, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious flat-racing venues in Central Europe. The elegant grandstand and parkland setting make it a popular venue for major race meetings as well as open-air events and concerts.
