About the venue

The Kapuzinerkirche (Church of the Capuchins) in Vienna is a Baroque church completed in 1632, located on the Neuer Markt. It is best known as the entrance to the Kaisergruft (Imperial Crypt), the burial site of the Habsburg dynasty, housing the remains of 149 members of the imperial family. The church itself is characteristically austere, reflecting the Capuchin order's values of simplicity.
