About the venue
The Seebühne Bregenz is one of the world's largest floating open-air stages, set on Lake Constance (Bodensee) in Bregenz, Austria. It is the centrepiece of the Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz Festival), held each summer since 1946, and seats around 7,000 spectators on the lakeside grandstand. The stage is renowned for its spectacular large-scale opera productions and elaborate scenic constructions, and famously appeared in the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace" (2008).
