AB/CD - Tribute to AC/DC
Tribute band AB/CD performs the greatest hits of AC/DC at Nürnberg's Hirsch club.
AB/CD is a German AC/DC tribute band from the Frankfurt/Aschaffenburg area, founded in September 1990. Their debut gig on 19 February 1991 - the anniversary of Bon Scott's death - set the tone for the band's identity, and the name itself plays on the Aschaffenburg car-registration plate 'AB'. What sets them apart from other tribute acts is a dual-vocalist concept: one singer covers the Bon Scott era, the other takes on the Brian Johnson years, letting the band run through the full AC/DC catalogue in a single show. After 35 years and more than 1,200 concerts, they remain one of the most experienced AC/DC tribute acts in Europe.
AB/CD celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2025 with a packed tour schedule, capped by a sold-out jubilee concert at the Willy-Brandt-Halle in Mülheim.
The band continues touring in 2026, with confirmed dates running through to April 2027, including a show in Mönchengladbach on 6 November 2026.
A November 2026 show at Kulturboden Hallstadt sold out, with standing tickets listed as unavailable.
