Aesthetic Perfection is an American-Austrian industrial pop project founded in Los Angeles in 2000 by Daniel Graves, who later relocated to Linz, Austria. The project blends EBM, dark electro and aggrotech with melodic pop structures, and has operated fully independently since Graves left Metropolis and Out of Line Records to run his own Close to Human Records. Over nine studio albums, the band built a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic, sharing stages with acts like Combichrist, Covenant and Till Lindemann.
Aesthetic Perfection released 'Closer to Human' on June 20, 2025 via Dependent Records - a fully reconstructed version of the 2005 debut album, rebuilt from the original hardware after the masters were lost in a 2006 hard drive failure.
