Alex Diehl (born 26 November 1987 in Traunstein, Bavaria) is a German singer-songwriter who writes and performs almost exclusively in German. He built his following through intimate acoustic shows and emotionally direct lyrics, breaking through nationally in November 2015 when his phone-camera response to the Paris attacks, "Nur ein Lied", reached millions of views within days and earned him a runner-up finish at the German Eurovision qualifier in 2016. His catalogue spans five albums and several EPs on his own label BIG DIEHL RECORDS, distributed by Universal Music.
Alex Diehl announced additional dates for the "Leichter" Akustik Tour 2026, including stops in Celle, Oberhausen, Bad Segeberg, Zwickau and Hannover.
Alex Diehl released the single "Leichter" in January 2026, the title track of his current acoustic tour.
The "Leichter" Akustik Tour 2026 kicked off on 20 February 2026 in Blaibach, with the tour concept centred on personal change - including a reported 40 kg weight loss.
A "Diehlicious Christmas 2.0" run of shows is scheduled for December 2026, with dates in Hamburg among others.
Alex Diehl released his third studio album "LAUT" on 22 May 2020 on his own label BIG DIEHL RECORDS; it entered the German album charts at position 68.
