Alice Coltrane

Alice Coltrane (1937–2007) was an American jazz pianist, harpist, and composer. The wife of John Coltrane, she developed her own spiritual musical language after his death, blending jazz with Indian classical music and Hindu spirituality. Her landmark album Journey in Satchidananda was released in 1971.
