Die Amigos are a German schlager duo formed by brothers Bernd and Karl-Heinz Ulrich from Villingen in Hesse, who founded the group in 1970. After decades of playing village fairs and small festivals, they broke through nationally in 2006 and have since accumulated 16 number-one albums in the German charts - more than any other act in the genre. With five ECHO awards and a loyal multigenerational fanbase, they rank among the most commercially successful schlager acts in the German-speaking world.
