Anatevka (Fiddler on the Roof) is a musical by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, with a book by Joseph Stein, based on stories by Sholem Aleichem. It follows the milkman Tevye and his daughters in tsarist Russia. The show premiered on Broadway in 1964 and became famous for songs like Sunrise, Sunset and Matchmaker, Matchmaker.
