Andrei Gavrilov is a Russian pianist who studied under Lev Naumov at the Moscow Conservatory and won the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1974. He is known for his interpretations of Chopin, Schumann and Rachmaninov, and has recorded extensively for EMI Classics.
