Anette Olzon is a Swedish rock singer best known as the frontwoman of Finnish band Nightwish from 2007 to 2012, appearing on the albums Dark Passion Play and Imaginaerum. Her powerful soprano voice suited the band's orchestral metal sound well. Since leaving Nightwish she has pursued a solo career and worked with the project The Dark Element.
