Animal ДжаZ is a Saint Petersburg alternative rock band formed in December 2000, led by vocalist and songwriter Alexander Krasovitsky. The group describes its sound as 'heavy guitar eclectics' - a restless mix of post-grunge, electronic beats and melodic rock, all sung in Russian. Over more than two decades they have released 19 studio albums (including acoustic records), won two RAMP-2007 awards and two Chartova Dyuzhina prizes, and shared stages with Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Garbage.
Animal ДжаZ released their twelfth studio album 'Янь' (Yang), the companion record to the 2023 album 'Инь' (Yin), completing a conceptual diptych.
The band launched 'The Best Of Animal Jazz' electric tour, with dates in Kazakhstan and other CIS cities.
