Anita Rachvelishvili is a Georgian mezzo-soprano who has performed on the world's major opera stages. She rose to prominence with the role of Carmen, which she sang at her debut at Milan's La Scala. She regularly appears at the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden and other top opera houses.
