Archspire - European Vacation 2026
Canadian metal band Archspire brings their European Vacation 2026 tour to Cologne. High-energy metal with intricate riffs and intense vocals.
Archspire is a technical death metal band from Vancouver, Canada, formed in 2007 (originally as Defenestrated) and signed to Season of Mist from 2013 until parting ways ahead of their fifth album. They are widely regarded as one of the fastest and most technically precise acts in extreme metal, built around vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron's rapid-fire "shotgun" delivery, twin 8-string guitarists Dean Lamb and Tobi Morelli, and drumming that regularly pushes past 400 BPM. Their 2021 album Bleed the Future won the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year, and their 2026 independent release Too Fast to Die marks a new chapter in the band's career.
Archspire released their fifth studio album Too Fast to Die on April 10, 2026, their first independent release after parting ways with Season of Mist.
Archspire announced the European Vacation headline tour for October-November 2026, kicking off in Köln on October 23 and closing in Helsinki on November 21.
An official Guitar & Bass Tab Book for Too Fast to Die was published, running close to 300 pages.
Spencer Moore (formerly of Inferi) joined Archspire as drummer in May 2025, replacing founding member Spencer Prewett who departed in September 2024.
Bleed the Future won the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year at the 2022 ceremony.
