About

Arena are an English neo-progressive rock band founded in 1995 by Mick Pointer (former Marillion drummer) and Clive Nolan (former Pendragon keyboardist). Their sound moves between symphonic grandeur and hard rock, and AllMusic named them one of the dominant neo-prog groups of the 1990s. Over ten studio albums they have worked with five different lead vocalists, most recently Damian Wilson, who joined in 2020 and is set to leave at the end of 2026.
