Aziz Shokhakimov is an Uzbek conductor who has served as chief conductor of the Dresdner Philharmonie since 2021. He trained in Tashkent before continuing his studies in Europe, where he built a reputation for expressive, energetic podium work. He has appeared with a number of major European orchestras.
