About

Band of Horses is an American indie rock band founded in Seattle in 2004 by frontman Ben Bridwell, following the break-up of his previous group Carissa's Wierd. Their 2006 Sub Pop debut Everything All the Time - anchored by the slow-burning anthem "The Funeral" - established them as one of the defining indie rock acts of the decade. The 2010 album Infinite Arms, their most commercially successful record, debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination; across six studio albums the band has woven together indie rock, folk and Southern rock with Bridwell's soaring falsetto harmonies.
