About

Basshunter is the stage name of Swedish singer, producer and DJ Jonas Erik Altberg (born 22 December 1984 in Halmstad). He broke through internationally with the 2007 Eurodance single "Now You're Gone", which spent five weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart and topped the charts in Ireland. His bass-heavy sound, rooted in Eurodance and hard trance, earned him over 800 million Spotify streams and a loyal following across Europe.
