Batsheva Dance Company is an Israeli contemporary dance ensemble based in Tel Aviv, founded in 1964. Under the long-term artistic direction of choreographer Ohad Naharin, it became one of the most prominent contemporary dance companies in the world. Naharin developed a unique movement language called Gaga, which underpins the company's work.
