Beast in Black is a Finnish heavy metal band founded in Helsinki in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen, who had previously led Battle Beast. The band blends power metal with 1980s pop and electronic elements, drawing lyrical inspiration from the manga Berserk and dark fantasy. Their debut album Berserker (2017) went platinum, as did the follow-up From Hell with Love (2019), while Dark Connection (2021) debuted at number one in Finland. With sold-out arena tours across Europe, Japan and the Americas, they have become one of Finland's most prominent metal exports.
Guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen departed Beast in Black in October 2025 during the Helloween tour; Daniel Freyberg stepped in as fill-in for the remaining dates.
