Biga*Ranx (born Gabriel Piotrowski, 27 September 1988 in Tours, France) is a French reggae, dancehall and ragga hip-hop artist who started out in sound systems at age 13. He built his reputation through freestyle videos online and collaborations with Jamaican singjay Joseph Cotton, who gave him the "Ranx" suffix in 2008. His debut album "On Time" (2011) was voted best ragga/dancehall album in France by Reggae.fr, and he has since released a string of albums blending dub, hip-hop and lo-fi electronics under the banner of his own "Vapor Dub" sound. A visual artist as well, he works under the alias Telly*.
Biga*Ranx released his seventh studio album "Rainshine" on 27 June 2025, a 16-track project preceded by singles including "Danse", "Vélib", "Trop D'Lumière" and "Moonshine".
Biga*Ranx is headlining a major festival tour across Europe in summer 2026, including appearances at Dour Festival (Belgium) and Rototom Sunsplash (Spain).
A headline show at Zénith Paris - La Villette is scheduled for 21 November 2026.
Biga*Ranx released the single "Big in Japan" in early 2026, continuing the run of releases tied to the "Rainshine" era.
