Björn Meyer is a Swedish bassist working at the intersection of jazz, improvisation and atmospheric sound. As a soloist he explores the six-string electric bass through melody, rhythm and electronic effects. He has released two solo albums on ECM - Provenance (2017) and Convergence (2026) - both marked by a distinctly Nordic sensibility and a keen sense of space.
