Black River Delta is a blues rock trio from Bollnäs, in the Hälsingland region of Sweden, active since 2014. The band - Erik Jacobs (vocals, guitar), Pontus Ohlsson (guitar, harmonica) and Erik Nilsson (vocals, drums) - builds a raw, fuzz-heavy sound rooted in American blues tradition, drawing on everyone from Robert Johnson and R.L. Burnside to The Black Keys and Gary Clark Jr. Their three studio albums earned them tours across Europe and North America, and blues legend Joe Bonamassa singled out Vol. II as one of the best albums of 2018. In April 2026 the band signed with Stockholm label Despotz Records and announced a fourth album due later that year.
