Bonez MC (born Johann Lorenz Moser, 23 December 1985 in Hamburg) is one of Germany's most commercially successful rappers, known as a founding member of the Hamburg crew 187 Strassenbande alongside Gzuz, LX and Maxwell. His duo albums with RAF Camora - the three-part 'Palmen aus Plastik' series - helped define the German trap and dancehall-rap sound of the 2010s, while his 2020 solo albums 'Hollywood' and 'Hollywood Uncut' both debuted at number one. In 2021 he was the most-streamed artist on Spotify Germany, accumulating over 70 gold and platinum awards and 15 number-one releases across his career.
Bonez MC released the EP 'dumm aber doppelt' with 187 Strassenbande crew member LX on 18 July 2025 - their first joint project of this length.
At his Hamburg Volksparkstadion show on 1 August 2025, emergency services treated 35 concertgoers, with 11 taken to hospital; the concert itself was not interrupted.
Bonez MC completed his 'Gameboy' arena tour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland in spring 2025, with dates in Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich.
His fourth solo album 'Gameboy' was released in November 2024, reaching number 1 in Austria and number 2 in Germany and Switzerland.
Bonez MC turned 40 in December 2025 and publicly reflected on his career, confirming a next album was already recorded.
