About

Brothers Moving is a Danish roots band formed in New York City in 2008 by the three Knoblauch brothers - Esben (vocals, guitar, kazoo), Aske (lead guitar) and Simon (cajón) - together with bassist Nils Sørensen. Starting out as street musicians in Manhattan, they went viral in 2012 when a cellphone video of their Union Square performance of Cab Calloway's 'Minnie the Moocher' racked up over 25 million YouTube views. Their sound blends blues, folk, funk and reggae, delivered in both English and Danish, and they have since grown into a touring act playing venues and festivals across Europe.
