Bülent Ceylan is a German comedian and Kabarett artist born in 1976 in Mannheim, the son of a Turkish father and a German-Hungarian mother. His stage work revolves around multicultural identity, the Mannheim dialect, and a gallery of recurring comic characters - from the Turkish-German Hasan to the quintessential local Mompfreed. Active since 2002, he has built one of the largest live comedy audiences in Germany, regularly filling arenas and winning the German Comedy Award as best comedian in 2010.
Ceylan premiered his new solo show Diktatürk on 19 February 2026 in Wetzlar, launching a tour running through the end of 2027 across Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.
Ceylan announced a separate band club tour for autumn 2026, with dates in Mannheim, Saarbrücken, Essen, München, Nürnberg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt.
His official website confirmed a new studio album is in preparation to accompany the 2026 band tour, following the celebrated January 2025 tour.
Ceylan released his debut music album Ich liebe Menschen on 1 March 2024, a 12-track metal-influenced record on which he combines comedy with social commentary.
