About

Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, active since 2004, whose sound fuses hardcore and sludge metal with southern rock influences. Over eight studio albums and six JUNO Award nominations, they have built a devoted following across North America, the UK and Europe, with Hail Destroyer (2008) and Psychic Jailbreak (2022) among their most acclaimed records. Fronted by vocalist Liam Cormier, the band is equally known for their Black Sabbath tribute alter ego Bat Sabbath, which tours separately alongside their main act.
