Carlo Masala is a German political scientist of Italian origin, professor at the Bundeswehr University in Munich, where he focuses on international politics and security studies. After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he became one of the most frequently quoted geopolitical voices in German media. He has authored numerous academic works on international relations.
