About

Clawfinger is a Swedish-Norwegian rap metal band formed in Stockholm in 1989, widely regarded as pioneers of the genre in Europe. Their 1993 debut Deaf Dumb Blind sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and earned them a Swedish Grammis award, while follow-up Use Your Brain (1995) cemented their international standing. The band is known for blunt, politically charged lyrics tackling racism, war, and social hypocrisy - delivered over heavy riffs and rap vocals. After disbanding in 2013 and playing occasional reunion shows, they returned in 2026 with Before We All Die, their first studio album in 18 years.
