Corvus Corax is a Berlin-based German band formed in 1989 in East Germany by Castus Rabensang, Wim (Venustus) and Meister Selbfried. Playing neo-medieval folk rock built around bagpipes, shawms and heavy percussion, they became one of Europe's most influential acts in the Mittelalter music scene - a reference point for countless bands that followed. Over three decades they have performed at Wacken Open Air, Hellfest and the Kaltenberg Knights' Tournament, contributed arrangements to the Dragon Age: The Veilguard soundtrack alongside Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe, and released their 35th-anniversary album Tausend Jahre Tanzmusik in December 2024.
Corvus Corax embarked on the 'In Ecclesia' tour in December 2025, with shows in Berlin, Gersthofen, Leipzig and Hamburg.
