About
Cory Henry (born February 27, 1987, Brooklyn, New York) is an American organist, pianist, singer, and producer whose playing spans gospel, funk, soul, and jazz. A child prodigy who performed at the Apollo Theater at age six, he rose to wider recognition as a member of the Grammy-winning collective Snarky Puppy before launching his solo career in 2018 with The Funk Apostles. His 2024 gospel album Church won the Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album at the 2025 ceremony, and his follow-up Devotion appeared in August 2026.
