Cory Wong is a Grammy-nominated guitarist, songwriter, and producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota, best known for his razor-precise funk rhythm guitar style and prolific solo output. He rose to wider recognition as a core member of Vulfpeck and the Fearless Flyers, and has since released over a dozen solo albums spanning funk, jazz, soul, and pop - collaborating with artists ranging from Jon Batiste and Dave Koz to Chromeo and Bruce Hornsby. In 2024 he composed the theme for the CBS late-night show After Midnight, and his album Starship Syncopation, recorded with the Metropole Orkest, marked a new creative peak.
